The biggest hit of the week goes to ssbradley40. A.J. Brown is headed to injured reserve with a high-ankle sprain, and the fast turnaround on that move is not a good sign. He's out a minimum of four games, and the writing suggests even a Week 6 return is optimistic. That's a weekly starter gone for a chunk of the schedule.
Better news in Cincinnati. Tee Higgins (jhen) shook off a heel issue to practice fully all week and is good to go, and Ja'Marr Chase (cplabarge) cleared a knee scare with no designation at all. Both are full go against Tampa Bay. On the other side of that game, Emeka Egbuka (cplabarge) also checked in at full health, and with the Buccaneers' receiver room thinned out, he looks like the clear top target in Tampa's passing game.
Elsewhere, DamnBrit is stuck refreshing injury reports. Rome Odunze battled a calf issue all week and got the questionable tag, a coin flip that matters for a flex spot. Worse for DamnBrit: Brock Bowers is out entirely, with the team unwilling to put a timeline on his return.
PatBerry and Scarpg are both waiting on late-breaking calls too, with Jeremiyah Love and Malik Nabers each questionable and unlikely to be settled until close to kickoff.
Smaller notes: Alec Pierce, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Jonathon Brooks and KC Concepcion are all playing, none of them difference-makers for their managers this week. And D'Andre Swift got paid — a three-year deal that only reinforces what Scarpg already had in a proven every-week option.
