Bowers on track for quick return, Giants passing game arrives

By Nora Sideline · 27d ago

Brock Bowers is day-to-day, not done for the year. Raiders coach Klint Kubiak called the tight end's status game-to-game after a knee procedure, and the training staff believes he has a shot at playing next week against the Chargers. For DamnBrit, that's the best news an elite TE owner can hope for after a scary opening the type of injury.

Cmoney7 has a rougher week. Both Ladd McConkey and Zay Flowers are considered day-to-day, McConkey with a rib issue and Flowers with a hamstring tweak. Neither is thought to be serious, but with two weekly starters banged up, Cmoney7 will be watching practice reports closely before Sunday.

The Giants passing game looked alive. Isaiah Likely turned in a big two-touchdown day for jhen, showing real chemistry with Jaxson Dart, who himself threw three touchdowns for cplabarge. Malik Nabers made his long-awaited return from a torn ACL for Scarpg, reclaiming the top receiver job. All trending in the right direction.

In Minnesota, the backfield remains a committee. Aaron Jones (DamnBrit) and Jordan Mason (Trotter0) split work almost evenly, and Mason's sore thumb could tilt more carries toward Jones short-term. Low-stakes for both bench roster spots.

Elsewhere: Alec Pierce (connorolson) escaped a wrist scare, Jalen Coker (ssbradley40) is expected to play through a minor ankle issue, Brian Thomas (jhen) should suit up despite a shoulder ding, TreVeyon Henderson (CapitanKampana) is trending toward his season debut, and Dak Prescott (ssbradley40) had a mixed outing weighed down by a costly interception.
