The early-season wire was mostly noise. Nobody added a weekly starter. But a few moves are worth flagging, starting with the league's most predictable pattern: PatBerry cannot leave his own roster alone.
Pat added and dropped the Lions defense twice in the span of five days, also churning through the Titans defense, Will Reichard, and Michael Mayer. None of it rises above depth or bench-TE territory, but the sheer volume tracks — this is a man who supposedly swore off transactions and clearly meant "trades," not "waivers." The one drop that stings in hindsight: T.J. Hockenson, a name with more juice than anything Pat brought in behind him.
CapitanKampana kept it simple, cycling Tank Dell in and out while adding Roschon Johnson and Caleb Douglas — pure depth churn, but Will's brand is finding value nobody else wants, so nobody's betting against it yet.
jhen's move stands out for the wrong reasons: dropping Ja'Kobi Lane, a bench WR with actual standalone value, to make room for two kickers. That's a swap that ages fine only if both kickers never miss.
DamnBrit made one add — Darren Waller, pure depth — and otherwise sat this cycle out, consistent with a roster philosophy built more around future picks than present buys.
No clear winner this week. Just Pat, doing Pat things.
