Walker's Chiefs debut is the story fantasy managers actually needed

By Nora Sideline · 26d ago

CapitanKampana got the headline performance of the week. Kenneth Walker ran for a touchdown, caught another, and did enough damage on the ground and through the air to make his first game in Kansas City look like a preview of a big season. As a weekly RB starter, that's the kind of Monday night that sets a lineup slot for months.

The Chiefs' other pieces mostly cooperated. Rashee Rice, a weekly starter for cbbrew, scored on a screen play, while Patrick Mahomes, cbbrew's flex QB, shook off a slow start to throw two touchdowns and run for another. Travis Kelce, connorolson's flex TE, led the team in receiving yards thanks to one long catch. Xavier Worthy was quiet for vaniano, a low-stakes bench note given his standalone-value tier.

Denver was the mirror image. Bo Nix turned the ball over three times for Cmoney7, a bench QB situation nobody's counting on anyway. Courtland Sutton and Jaylen Waddle both had forgettable nights for cplabarge and DamnBrit — the Waddle line is more concerning given he's a weekly starter. RJ Harvey and J.K. Dobbins split modest work for cplabarge and Scarpg.

Elsewhere, jhen's Makai Lemon turned in an unremarkable line for the Eagles, the kind of bench outing that changes nothing.
