Collins, Flowers hamstrings put two starting receivers in doubt

By Nora Sideline · 25d ago

The week's biggest concern belongs to jgianares. Nico Collins was limited at Texans practice with a hamstring injury and is undergoing further testing, a history he knows well after missing time with the same issue in 2024. He's a weekly starter for jgianares, so this one is worth watching closely into the weekend. Jgianares also has Brian Thomas managing a shoulder issue, though a limited practice was expected there and he's still projected to play.

Ssbradley40 has a similar headache. Zay Flowers aggravated a hamstring in Baltimore's win over the Colts and didn't practice Wednesday. His coach called him day-to-day, which in fantasy terms means keep a bench plan ready.

Over in New England, DamnBrit got a positive update: TreVeyon Henderson practiced fully and looks on track to make his season debut Sunday, a real boost given how little the Patriots have gotten from their backfield without him. Less reassuring for DamnBrit is RJ Harvey, limited with a hamstring on Denver's short week, and Michael Pittman, a bench-caliber piece who was limited with a foot injury.

Chicago's backfield muddies things for two managers: Kyle Monangai (zmoneyballers) and D'Andre Swift (Cmoney7) were both limited with lower-body issues, worth monitoring but not alarming yet.

Elsewhere, George Kittle and Juwan Johnson (zmoneyballers) look fine health-wise, Alec Pierce (PatBerry) is cleared, Michael Penix (vaniano) remains a depth-chart mystery, Jalen Coker (Scarpg) trended positive after his best game of the year, and De'Zhaun Stribling (CapitanKampana) is done for a while after ankle surgery — a non-factor from here for a bench piece.
