Bowers headlines the worry list. PatBerry's elite tight end has not practiced since his meniscus trim and sat out Week 1 entirely. If Bowers can't go Friday, Michael Mayer becomes the container for Las Vegas's receiving work at tight end, which is someone else's problem to roster.
Cmoney7 has a lot riding on Sunday. Zay Flowers, a weekly starter, missed a second straight practice with the hamstring injury that knocked him out of his big Week 1 game, and his availability won't be clear until closer to kickoff. George Kittle, a flex option for Cmoney7, is still working on a practice snap count as he continues to build back from his Achilles tear, though he looked normal enough in Week 1. And Ladd McConkey, the other weekly starter on that roster, has now gone two straight days without practicing on a rib injury, putting his Sunday status in real doubt.
New Orleans backfield mates Chris Olave and Juwan Johnson generated news for different managers. Olave (cplabarge) left Thursday's practice early as a precaution after a hamstring scare, though it isn't expected to cost him Sunday. Johnson (Trotter0), a bench tight end, is trending the right way after upgrading from a Wednesday absence.
Elsewhere: Joe Burrow (CapitanKampana) looks on track to play through a back issue. Nico Collins (Scarpg) is more concerning, sitting out entirely with a hamstring strain. Ja'Marr Chase (cplabarge) says his knee feels fine. Jakobi Meyers (connorolson) and Brian Thomas (jhen) are managing minor, expected limitations. Cplabarge's bench backs, Kaelon Black and RJ Harvey, are both banged up but low-stakes.
