Brock Bowers still hasn't practiced. The elite Raiders tight end sat out again Thursday as he continues to recover from a knee procedure, and cbbrew is stuck waiting for Friday's report to find out if his best asset suits up against the Chargers. If Bowers can't go, Michael Mayer profits, not cbbrew.
Joe Burrow's back injury seems to be trending better. He was limited again Thursday but got through drills, and Burrow himself says he plans to play Sunday. Good news for PatBerry, who also has a lower-stakes situation brewing with Kaelon Black, whose groin issue popped up out of nowhere and left him limited.
The 49ers had two banged-up pass catchers. George Kittle is still on a practice snap count as he works back from his Achilles tear, but he looked normal in Week 1 and stands to see more work with several San Francisco receivers hurt — a quiet boost for zmoneyballers, who also has Saints tight end Juwan Johnson trending in the right direction after an illness.
Elsewhere, the Saints' Chris Olave left practice early but isn't considered a real threat to miss Sunday, easing Trotter0's mind. Zay Flowers still hasn't practiced for ssbradley40. Nico Collins didn't practice for jgianares, who also watched Brian Thomas get capped again. Ladd McConkey remains a non-participant for Scarpg. Kyler Murray keeps progressing through concussion protocol for CapitanKampana. RJ Harvey's hamstring has him limited for DamnBrit. And Omar Cooper remains out for Cmoney7, no surprise there.
