Nacua injury scare headlines a jittery Friday around the league

By Nora Sideline · 23d ago

Trotter0 spent Friday sweating out Puka Nacua's hip issue. The elite WR skipped the media portion of practice, and with Monday's kickoff looming, this is one to watch closely.

Scarpg got worse news: Nico Collins is out entirely for Week 2 with a hamstring injury, a real dent in a weekly starter's floor.

Cmoney7 had a mixed day. Zay Flowers is doubtful with a hamstring issue, threatening his workload as a weekly starter, while Ladd McConkey's rib injury has him questionable but trending toward playing after returning to practice. George Kittle, on the other hand, is fully cleared and worry-free heading into Week 2.

CapitanKampana can exhale — Joe Burrow's back issue didn't stop him from returning to full practice, and Cincinnati's coaching staff sounds confident he'll play.

In Jacksonville, jhen's Brian Thomas and connorolson's Jakobi Meyers both avoided injury designations despite nagging issues, keeping both bench-caliber contributors in play without much drama.

connorolson also got a clean bill of health for Alec Pierce, while Zach Charbonnet remains a distant, uncertain piece as Seattle inches toward letting him practice again.

ssbradley40 is monitoring Michael Pittman, who enters Sunday questionable after two missed practices, but caught a break with Kyle Monangai fully clearing his hamstring scare.

Finally, cplabarge is nursing two bench-level worries — RJ Harvey and Kaelon Black are both questionable — but neither is expected to swing a scoreboard.
