Jaguars loss splits fantasy fortunes as Washington shines, Lawrence stumbles

By Nora Sideline · 21d ago

Jacksonville's 20-13 defeat to Denver was the busiest game on the fantasy slate. Trevor Lawrence, a weekly starter for Scarpg, had a rough follow-up to his season opener, tossing an interception and getting sacked twice while managing no touchdowns. Denver's defense tightened as the game wore on, and Scarpg will hope for better against the Patriots next week.

Parker Washington, a weekly starter for Cmoney7, was the one bright spot on that offense, leading the Jaguars in every receiving category and continuing his strong start to the season. Bhayshul Tuten, a flex option for Scarpg, kept working as Jacksonville's lead back and scored his first touchdown of the year, even with a modest workload. Jakobi Meyers, a bench piece for connorolson, played plenty of snaps but barely factored into the box score — a non-event.

Elsewhere, Dak Prescott delivered a big day for ssbradley40, throwing four touchdowns in a rout of Washington. Deebo Samuel was steady for cplabarge in San Francisco's win, holding down a clear WR2 role. Terry McLaurin led Washington in targets for DamnBrit but couldn't connect efficiently, and the health of his quarterback is now a lingering concern.

Alec Pierce left his game early with a heel injury; X-rays were negative, but connorolson will monitor his status. Bench-caliber notes — Tyler Allgeier's shrinking role, KC Concepcion's short-range production, MarShawn Lloyd's fumble-shortened night, Jordan Addison's rainy-day catches, Chris Godwin's quiet afternoon, Quentin Johnston's inefficiency, and Kenny Gainwell's diminished role — offered little for their managers to celebrate, but little to panic over either.
