Kenneth Walker climbs while A.J. Brown's value goes into free fall

By Val Marchetti · 21d ago

Kenneth Walker's stock is climbing fast, and it belongs to CapitanKampana, whose elite-RB piece just got more valuable on the heels of a title run he insists he "was never worried" about. Derrick Henry is moving the same direction for cbbrew, a weekly RB starter climbing fast for a manager who publicly says he'd rather lose and hoard picks — a nice consolation prize either way.

The bigger story is surging, not just climbing. Dalton Kincaid is up for Scarpg, Christian Watson for jhen, Parker Washington for Cmoney7, and David Montgomery for ssbradley40 — four weekly starters at three different positions all trending sharply up. That's not a one-position hot streak, that's a market-wide one.

On the other side, A.J. Brown is cratering for ssbradley40, which takes some of the shine off Montgomery's surge on the same roster. Josh Jacobs is cratering for connorolson, Drake Maye is cratering for Trotter0 — fitting, given his season's general theme — and Brock Bowers, an elite TE, is cratering for PatBerry, whose trade instincts haven't kept his best asset's value from sliding.

The rough pattern belongs to DamnBrit: De'Von Achane sliding and Omarion Hampton cratering, both in the same backfield. For a manager already known around the league for playing the long game, that's two building blocks trending the wrong way at once.
