Puka Nacua sat out Monday night against the Giants, and that's the headline injury news of the week for Trotter0, who rosters an elite receiver now on hold with a hip issue that coach Sean McVay described as more of a groin thing. Nacua's next shot comes against Denver, but for now his fantasy value is parked on the bench with him.
The beneficiary was Davante Adams, filling in as the Rams' top target for DamnBrit. Adams has cashed in on Nacua absences before, and a flex-caliber receiver getting first crack at Matthew Stafford is exactly the kind of thing that makes a Tuesday morning pleasant.
On the other side of the ball, Jaxson Dart's night ended early for cplabarge. The QB was hit on a third-down throw, briefly ruled questionable, then officially done for the game with a knee issue. Jameis Winston mopped up. Dart's Week 3 outlook is now a real question for a manager who was counting on him as a flex option.
Malik Nabers gave Scarpg a scare too, exiting with shoulder and then arm pain before returning in the second quarter. A weekly starter surviving a scary sequence unscathed counts as a non-event with extra blood pressure.
In Philadelphia, Dallas Goedert's sprained MCL is a real loss for Cmoney7, sidelining a flex-worthy tight end for multiple weeks. It also opens a door for Makai Lemon, jhen's rookie bench receiver, who's shown flashes of moving the chains if not yet piling up yardage.
Jayden Reed's back injury is a bigger worry for jhen than Lemon's slow burn — being carted off is never a good sign, and his Thursday availability is very much in doubt.
Elsewhere, the bench-injury report keeps growing. Alec Pierce's heel issue now looks like a multi-week absence for connorolson, with Indianapolis already adding help at receiver. Caleb Douglas's ankle leaves cbbrew waiting on X-rays after a promising rookie start, and Jonathon Brooks' groin has that same manager nursing a second injury concern at running back. Mike Evans is considered week-to-week enough to watch closely for ssbradley40, though nothing suggests he sits. And T.J. Hockenson quietly continues to look like a low-end starter for cplabarge, which, given his other headline this week, counts as good news.
