Hurts clears concussion check as Eagles' Monday night gets worse

By Nora Sideline · 13d ago

The biggest scare of the week belonged to vaniano. Jalen Hurts left the Monday night loss to the Bears to be checked for a concussion, with Andy Dalton stepping in just long enough to throw a red-zone interception. Hurts has since been cleared, so vaniano's weekly starter should be good to go, but it was a stressful few minutes.

That same Monday night game was a mixed bag for the rest of the league. Cmoney7's Saquon Barkley kept producing in a lopsided loss, staying efficient on the ground despite the Eagles' offense otherwise stalling. Scarpg got a similar story from D'Andre Swift, who struggled for most of the night against Chicago before breaking loose late to help seal the win. Both remain solid weekly starters. Trotter0's Colston Loveland saw his role grow with Case Keenum at quarterback, a small but real bump for a flex tight end still finding his footing.

Elsewhere, Woody Marks scored his first touchdown of the season for Scarpg, a nice bench bonus. ssbradley40 saw Michael Pittman return from injury, though his workload log was quiet. Mark Andrews continues catching passes but not touchdowns for CapitanKampana. Denzel Boston, Isaiah Likely, Stefon Diggs, Jake Ferguson, Romeo Doubs, Xavier Worthy, Tre Tucker and Quentin Johnston all logged the kind of moderate, non-alarming weeks that keep their managers neither thrilled nor worried.
