Hurts scare overshadows Bears' rout of Eagles

Jalen Hurts left Monday night's loss to the Bears for a concussion evaluation, sending a jolt through cplabarge's lineup. The good news: Hurts has been cleared and is expected back under center in Week 4. Andy Dalton's relief appearance included a red-zone interception, a preview of what cplabarge's bye week would look like if the QB1 job changes hands.

The same game was kinder to other rosters. Saquon Barkley kept humming for jgianares, breaking off several long runs even in a lopsided loss, and remains a locked-in weekly starter. Colston Loveland saw a season-high workload for PatBerry, with Ben Johnson clearly scheming him more targets — an encouraging sign for a TE1 who'd been quiet. D'Andre Swift turned in another useful outing against his old team for Cmoney7, solidifying his flex role.

Elsewhere, Cmoney7 also got a goal-line touchdown out of backup Woody Marks, a nice bonus from a bench piece. Mark Andrews continues to catch passes for vaniano despite a hand injury, though the touchdowns still haven't come. Jake Ferguson found the end zone again for cplabarge but coughed up a fumble, a mixed bag from a hot bench tight end.

At receiver, Denzel Boston keeps flashing for Trotter0, who also saw Xavier Worthy stay involved in Kansas City's passing game. Isaiah Likely's target share held for Scarpg, though a quarterback change in New York clouds his outlook, while Brenton Strange chipped in modest work. Stefon Diggs stayed steady for jgianares, Romeo Doubs saw his role grow for Scarpg with Patriots targets up for grabs, and Quentin Johnston quietly had his best game for Cmoney7 in an otherwise stagnant Chargers offense.
