Hurts survives concussion check as Eagles sputter past Bears... actually past by

Monday night's Eagles-Bears game supplied the day's biggest storyline, and it belongs to vaniano's elite QB Jalen Hurts. Hurts took a hard hit late in the first half, went through a concussion check, passed it, and came back in to score on a scramble before the break. The overall line was forgettable as Philadelphia lost to Chicago, but the medical clearance is the real headline for vaniano.

The same night complicates vaniano's week further. Bench RB Rico Dowdle is stuck on Pittsburgh's injury report with a toe issue and looks unlikely to play in Cleveland, which would hand Jaylen Warren another heavy workload.

Weekly starter DeVonta Smith led the Eagles' passing game despite the loss, a modest bright spot for Trotter0 even as Philadelphia's offense struggled as a whole. Bench wideouts Dontayvion Wicks (CapitanKampana) and Makai Lemon (jhen) remain low-impact depth behind him.

On the other sideline, flex-worthy Luther Burden gave PatBerry a boost, scoring his first touchdown of the year and leading Chicago's receivers. DamnBrit's Rome Odunze played a complementary role as Kalif Raymond keeps soaking up targets. Bench RB Kyle Monangai (ssbradley40) held steady on the ground but stayed quiet through the air.

Elsewhere, weekly starter Jaylen Waddle gave PatBerry a scare in a walking boot, though he's reportedly fine. Bench notes: Devaughn Vele (connorolson) stayed involved in New Orleans, Emmett Johnson (DamnBrit) and Kaelon Black (cplabarge) remain complementary backs, Tyler Allgeier (jhen) was limited to checkdowns, and KC Concepcion (PatBerry) keeps drawing targets without much to show for them.
