Trotter0’s receivers keep him on injury watch

By Nora Sideline · 11d ago

Trotter0 had the busiest day on the injury report. Puka Nacua was limited again Wednesday but is trending toward playing Sunday at Philadelphia, with Sean McVay now saying he expects his star wideout back after a two-game absence. That’s a relief for an elite WR who’s been missed. Less comforting: DeVonta Smith sat out Wednesday’s walkthrough with a hamstring issue of his own, the same body part that bothered him last week before he played through it. Worth watching for a weekly starter. Add in Drake Maye, who was full going despite a lingering shoulder issue, and Trotter0 has a lot riding on Friday’s report.

jhen got good news on the top line: Josh Allen wasn’t even on the injury report despite a knee scare last week, so the elite QB is good to go against New England. Bucky Irving was limited with a glute issue, but Tampa Bay sounds unconcerned.

Cmoney7 is nursing three ailments. Dallas Goedert remains out of practice and keeps trending toward more absences, a non-event for his bench TE stash. Ladd McConkey (foot) and Zay Flowers (hamstring) were both limited — worth tracking for two weekly starters.

PatBerry can relax: Jaylen Waddle looked fine despite the boot sighting, taking full reps for Denver.

Elsewhere, DJ Moore (shoulder) and Nico Collins (hamstring) both logged limited practices but look on track to play. Jadarian Price’s chest injury clouds an already shrinking role in Seattle. And Kenyon Sadiq, banged up himself, could still see a big workload if the Jets’ other tight ends stay out.
