The Fake Football League · value risers fallers

Kenneth Walker's stock is surging, and Omarion Hampton's is cratering. That's the headline of this installment.

Start with the good news. CapitanKampana already has a title from 2025 and the league's deepest reputation for finding value for nothing. Now Kenneth Walker, an elite RB on his roster, is surging — which is a nice problem to have for a manager who usually brags about getting stars for $0 rather than paying for them.

Now the warning sign. Omarion Hampton, a weekly RB starter for DamnBrit, is cratering, the single biggest drop on this list. DamnBrit has built a reputation as the league's patient rebuilder, stockpiling picks for the future. A cratering RB starter isn't the kind of asset that waits around for a rebuild timeline.

Cmoney7 is the man of two minds here. Chuba Hubbard and Parker Washington are both surging — a weekly RB starter and a weekly WR starter trending the right direction. But Saquon Barkley, a weekly RB starter, is cratering on the same roster. Cole built three championships on having the answers; right now his running back room has both the best and worst news in the league.

Elsewhere, Christian Watson is surging for jhen, Brock Purdy is surging for vaniano, and Tyler Shough is surging for PatBerry — a rare good month for a QB room PatBerry built specifically to keep arms away from Cole. On the downside, A.J. Brown, Malik Nabers and Colston Loveland are all cratering for ssbradley40, Scarpg and Trotter0, respectively — proof that star-level name recognition isn't buying anyone protection this month.
