Not much shaking in The Fake Football League this week. Most of the action was organ-grinder stuff — depth pieces in, depth pieces out — with one notable exception.
Scarpg added Jayden Daniels, a bench QB with real standalone value, cutting loose Wan'Dale Robinson, a bench WR who carried some value of his own. For a guy who built his brand on Bijan Robinson and ignoring Pat's trade spam on principle, this is Ryan quietly stockpiling at the league's scarcest position without needing to make a deal with anybody. Call it the smartest move of the week by default.
Everything else was lateral at best. PatBerry swapped one depth-piece running back for another, Joe Mixon in for Kaleb Johnson — fitting for a guy who already hoards quarterbacks "for the league" and apparently has room in the budget for RB depth too. vaniano added Isaiah Davis, also a depth piece, continuing a "No ACLs" dynasty roster that never seems to stop needing bodies. ssbradley40 dropped a defense for a depth receiver in Jauan Jennings — low stakes, consistent with a guy who'll tell you himself he's not always sure what he's doing, even in years he wins the thing.
No regrets to speak of this week. No fleecings, either. Just Ryan, quietly building a QB cushion while the rest of the league shuffled furniture.
