Jgianares holds the edge in dynasty league's longest-running grudge match

By Vinny Grudge · 4d ago

Twelve meetings. One tiebreaker away from a dead-even series. And somehow the guy with zero championships is still winning it.

CapitanKampana and jgianares have played every kind of game two rivals can play, and when the dust settles, Joe leads Will 6-5-1. That is the official record of a rivalry that has produced a 175.54-65.46 blowout — CapitanKampana's doing, in week 13 of the 2023 season, the kind of margin that makes a man start bragging about his $0 waiver pickups all over again — and, somehow, a game that ended 0.00-0.00, CapitanKampana the winner on a tiebreaker in week 15 of 2026. Dynasty football does not get closer than a shutout.

The series has swung on habit as much as talent. Joe built this team up from a 4-10 laughingstock into a perennial winner, but the man famously has zero titles to show for it, and anyone who was in the league chat during the 2024 playoffs knows at least one reason why. Will, for his part, has never needed a finished product — he will find value nobody else sees and remind the league about it for a calendar year.

For now, the ledger reads Joe's favor, barely. Elsewhere in the league's rivalry ledger, Cmoney7 owns ssbradley40 (9-2-2) and PatBerry has quietly buried DamnBrit (9-2-1) — but none of those series have produced a blowout and a scoreless classic in the same rivalry. This one has both.
