Cardinals cut ties with Harrison, PatBerry left in limbo

By Nora Sideline · 1d ago

Marvin Harrison is on his way out of Arizona. The Cardinals are finalizing a trade that will send Harrison to an unspecified team, and he was deactivated for Sunday's game against the Lions while the deal gets sorted out. For PatBerry, who rosters Harrison as a flex option, this is a wait-and-see situation — no new team means no clarity on role, and until the dust settles he's unlikely to be worth a start wherever he lands.

In Buffalo, DJ Moore's shoulder issue kept him off the practice field to start Week 5 prep before he returned in a limited capacity Saturday, drawing a questionable tag for Monday night's game against the Rams. DamnBrit will want to check the inactive list before locking him into lineups — if Moore sits, Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman become the top options in that passing game, for whatever that's worth to anyone not rostering a Bill.

DamnBrit also has a smaller worry with Terry McLaurin, who's dealing with a hamstring injury and is a game-time call against the Giants. McLaurin sat out last week, and with Stefon Diggs now out for Washington, there's incentive for him to push through. As a bench piece for DamnBrit, it's a situation worth monitoring but not losing sleep over.
