Cmoney7 has three championships, won in a 2020-22 run that still defines the league's history. He's 5-9 this year and visibly declining, but the trash talk from the dynasty years hasn't aged a day — ask anyone who's heard "you can have the better team, but I'll always out-coach you" one too many times.
CapitanKampana finally has company at the top. Will broke through in 2025 for his first title after five years of near-misses, built on a waiver-wire roster nobody respected until it was holding a trophy. Scarpg and PatBerry have one apiece too — Ryan in 2024, Pat in 2023 — giving the league four different champions in four of the last four years.
The drought belongs to a crowded room. zmoneyballers, cbbrew, DamnBrit, cplabarge, Trotter0, vaniano, ssbradley40 and jgianares are all still looking for a first title, and three of them know exactly how close close can be. zmoneyballers took a last-place roster to the 2025 final and lost it. cbbrew made the 2020 final and came up short. ssbradley40 did the same in 2021. All three can say they've stood at the door. None of them has opened it.
Spare a thought for cplabarge, who isn't even on this title-drought list because he's never reached a final at all — just a career record that should've gotten him there by now.
