Camp bodies check in healthy across the Super Official Dynasty League

By Nora Sideline · 1mo ago

Two weekly starters cleared their first hurdles of camp season. Cam Skattebo says he's ready to go after ankle surgery, calling his recent training the most normal it's felt, and CapitanKampana should feel good about the Giants handing him back the lead role in the backfield once he's fully cleared. The same manager also gets a positive update on Tucker Kraft, who may open camp on the PUP list following his ACL tear but is expected to be full-go for Week 1. The lingering question is a contract: Kraft is in the final year of his deal, and the Packers reportedly want an extension done before he puts pads back on.

DamnBrit's Tampa Bay pipeline had its own encouraging morning. Bucky Irving says his surgically repaired shoulder will be ready for training camp, positioning him to reclaim the top job in a backfield that still includes Kenneth Gainwell and Sean Tucker. Chris Godwin, a bench piece for DamnBrit, is projected to work primarily out of the slot behind Emeka Egbuka, with no injury concerns heading into camp — low-stakes news, but a fine sign for anyone deep enough to roster him.

Elsewhere, RJ Harvey is doing film study, watching Christian McCaffrey, Jahmyr Gibbs and Kenneth Walker to sharpen his game. Denver's crowded backfield, with J.K. Dobbins re-signed and Jonah Coleman drafted, means DamnBrit shouldn't expect a workload breakthrough just yet.
