August fireworks, one year of receipts

Every fantasy trade deadline in this league runs through August, and last year's crop already has a verdict. The busiest was Pat and Hannah swapping Pat Freiermuth for Joe Milton — a deal so inconsequential both players are now filed under "depth piece." Nobody won that one. Nobody lost it either.
The trade that actually mattered ran through Scarpg and zmoneyballers. Ryan sent Ladd McConkey to Zack for Matthew Stafford, and a year later McConkey is a weekly WR starter while Stafford has settled in as a flex-worthy QB — a fair swap that's aged into a rare thing around here, a trade nobody needs to be defensive about. Zack, ever the day trader, also stacked Josh Jacobs and George Kittle onto his ledger; both now grade out as flex-worthy.
Hannah and Sam ran a similar even-money deal — Justin Herbert to ssbradley40 for Rhamondre Stevenson — and both sides can claim a win, Herbert a weekly starter, Stevenson a bench piece with real standalone value.
The deal that aged best belongs to jgianares, who parted with Justin Fields, a name he's never been shy about defending, for Josh Allen. Fields is a depth piece now. Allen is elite. Some rebuilds really do write themselves.
