Jayden Daniels' preseason cameo went about as well as a three-and-out can go. Daniels missed his only pass attempt and took a sack in Washington's loss to the Lions, playing all of three snaps. Scarpg can chalk it up to rust after Daniels' late-season elbow injury, but it wasn't exactly a statement game.
Caleb Williams had a better Saturday. DamnBrit's elite QB suited up for Chicago's game in Cincinnati after sitting out the opener, running with the first-team offense alongside his top skill players. No red flags there.
Jaxson Dart didn't play at all for the Giants, resting with other starters in a blowout win. Cmoney7 shouldn't read anything into it — Dart's Week 1 job is safe.
In Miami, De'Von Achane sat out against the Giants, leaving ssbradley40 to watch Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon soak up snaps. Backup QB Malik Willis also sat, a non-issue for vaniano given his depth-chart standing behind Quinn Ewers.
Atlanta's quarterback picture inches forward: Michael Penix has been cleared for full team drills, a good sign for vaniano's recovery timeline, while Tua Tagovailoa continues to rest as the presumptive Week 1 starter for Trotter0.
Baker Mayfield will play extended snaps for Tampa Bay against the Chiefs, with several receivers banged up — modest boost for Scarpg's flex option.
Denver's Pat Bryant caught nothing in his start, still fighting for a role Cmoney7 should keep an eye on. J.K. Dobbins remained out for CapitanKampana, though he's still ticketed for lead-back duties.
Jacksonville sat both Brenton Strange (Scarpg) and Travis Hunter (cbbrew) — nothing to see there.
Mike Evans (Cmoney7) practiced fully despite lingering quad issues, while teammate Quentin Johnston is considered a minor, short-term concern.
