Chase injury scare tops a jittery week of camp news

By Nora Sideline · 4h ago

Ja'Marr Chase sat out a Wednesday practice with a knee issue, though he downplayed it and wasn't seen in any extra padding. PatBerry rosters an elite WR here, so any camp absence draws attention, but nothing so far suggests missed time once the season starts.

Green Bay's Tucker Kraft continues checking boxes in his return from a torn ACL, working into full team drills against the Cardinals and now expected to be full go for Week 1. CapitanKampana can exhale — his weekly TE starter looks on schedule.

Zay Flowers missed a couple of practices with an unspecified issue before Baltimore called it precautionary. Ravens coaches aren't worried, and neither should zmoneyballers be about his weekly starter.

Chris Olave had the wind knocked out of him but was back at practice the next day. A non-event for Trotter0, especially with added target share coming his way in New Orleans.

Jgianares had a busier day: Kenneth Walker's ankle swelling isn't considered serious, and Brian Thomas returned to practice a day after a shoulder scare, working in a no-contact jersey. Two flex-relevant scares, zero real concerns.

Elsewhere, Luther Burden (cbbrew) eased back into limited drills after a groin injury, Michael Penix (vaniano) is progressing but staying out of preseason action, and bench pieces Mike Evans (Cmoney7) and Josh Downs (cplabarge) are both nursing minor ailments they expect to play through.
