Henderson cleared for Week 1, Jacobs facing misdemeanor charges

TreVeyon Henderson is good to go. DamnBrit can breathe easy knowing the ankle issue that had Henderson sidelined won't cost him any regular-season time, with a Week 1 start against the Steelers on track. The catch: Rhamondre Stevenson isn't going anywhere, and the two will open the season splitting work in New England's backfield, so DamnBrit's weekly starter comes with an asterisk.

A.J. Brown sat out New England's preseason finale, which means nothing for PatBerry. Brown is ticketed to be Drake Maye's top target in 2026 and this is standard veteran preseason management, not an injury story.

Josh Jacobs has been formally charged with misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property stemming from his May arrest, with a court date set for November. The NFL is reviewing the matter and a suspension is on the table. zmoneyballers rosters Jacobs as a flex option, so this is worth watching but not yet a lineup emergency.

Elsewhere, Wan'Dale Robinson is being evaluated for a concussion after a joint practice hit, a mild concern for DamnBrit given Robinson's bench role. Alec Pierce is trending toward a Week 1 return off PUP, a modest boost for PatBerry's depth. And DK Metcalf restructured his Steelers contract to free up cap space, purely a business move with no fantasy impact for ssbradley40.
