Puka Nacua is back on the practice field. CapitanKampana's elite wideout has been dealing with psoas soreness since mid-August, but Sunday's session marks real progress toward a Week 1 availability against the 49ers in Australia. Nothing is guaranteed yet, but the direction is right, which is all CapitanKampana can ask for from his best player.
George Kittle is on a similar path. Zmoneyballers' flex-worthy tight end is trending toward suiting up in that same opener, eight months removed from a torn Achilles. His practice reps this week should answer the question for good.
Zmoneyballers is having a rougher week elsewhere, though. Josh Jacobs has landed on the Commissioner's Exempt List following misdemeanor charges tied to a May arrest, with no timetable for his return and a court date not until November. That's a real problem for a flex-worthy back who now can't play or practice at all.
Jacobs' absence in Green Bay ripples elsewhere. MarShawn Lloyd, a low-stakes bench piece for DamnBrit, suddenly looks like the leading option in the Packers backfield, at least until Kaleb Johnson gets acclimated.
Elsewhere, minor updates: Zach Charbonnet's PUP move for ssbradley40 is procedural, not a setback, and Luther Burden's groin is fine enough that cbbrew shouldn't worry about Week 1.
