The 49ers and Rams open the season against each other in Australia, and the injury news for both squared away nicely. Christian McCaffrey, a weekly starter for ssbradley40, drew no mention on San Francisco's first injury report after a month of "tightness" chatter — he's expected to handle his normal workload. Puka Nacua, CapitanKampana's elite WR, likewise cleared the report after nursing a core injury, and looks full speed for Week 1. Also good to go for that game: De'Zhaun Stribling (flex-worthy, CapitanKampana), stuck behind Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel but apparently healthy, and Evans himself (bench, Cmoney7), back after an adductor issue. George Kittle (flex-worthy, zmoneyballers) was only a limited practice participant but remains on track to suit up. Terrance Ferguson (bench, Cmoney7) is fully healthy too, for what it's worth on a Rams depth chart with five healthy tight ends.
In New England, Rhamondre Stevenson inherits a workhorse role for DamnBrit after TreVeyon Henderson was ruled out with an ankle injury — a boost for one flex option, a shelving of another, same manager.
Cardinals backfield clarity remains elusive: Tyler Allgeier (bench, vaniano) is the unofficial starter, while Jeremiyah Love (elite, cbbrew) is ticketed for a No. 2 role as he works back from his ankle sprain — a mild worry for a manager expecting more.
Elsewhere: Baker Mayfield signed a three-year extension in Tampa Bay (flex-worthy, Scarpg), Breece Hall looked full-go in Jets practice (weekly starter, vaniano), Kenyon Sadiq is trending toward a small role behind Mason Taylor (flex-worthy, jgianares), Chris Bell cracked Miami's starting trio (bench, PatBerry), and MarShawn Lloyd remains part of a crowded Packers committee (bench, DamnBrit).
